Just got my 16' LX a few weeks ago and I drive about 60% city / 40 hwy and I've gotten about 37 mpg over that time mostly in ECON mode...

My '19 EX hatch varies alot. If I'm doing most highway, 36-38 mpg easy and even if I'm doing 75-80 in stretches. If I'm mostly city, I'll pull 27-28 mpg. So, I guess you can say I average about 31 or so mpg.

The other "funny" debate is when people drive on "ECON" mode or not... I don't see much difference at all either way. I mostly use ECON in wet weather to smooth out my throttle response so I don't spin my wheels from a stop.

not really believable, especially with your location being minnesota. id check your math.
Lol! Miles driven divided by gallons put in the tank equals mpg. Do they use a different kind of math now? ;)

38-plus on the most recent fill-up - which is what I've been getting consistently since we drove it off the lot.

Then, this morning, I realized I have not once turned on the air conditioning since we bought in mid-November and haven't needed it yet. It'll be interesting to see what that does to the mileage.

I'm averaging 30mpg freeway driving with stage 2 KTuner flash, I usually travel at 75mph. City driving sees my mpg slightly go down to 28. No complaints here

Metrics? We got 'em.

2.0 + steady 75+ mph speeds + austin traffic

What app are you using? I've been keeping up with my tracking in Excel.

Edit: I did not abandon this thread. I didn't expect it to blow up into multiple pages. Been sick/busy, but scrolling through now.

I have the 1.5T sedan with CVT, at the past 8700 miles I have an average fuel consumption of 36.74mpg (6.4l/100km).

I'm using an app to track the gas fillings and my lowest fuel consumption, in terms of driving a full gas tank empty, was 39.20mpg.

As soon as I reduce the driving through the city and in the Autobahn, the MPG gets even better.

I’m drive mostly in shit California freeway traffic. 100 miles a day.

I get 34-35 mpg combined. That’s still a little crazy to me. I was getting 28 mpg for awhile after installing a CAI, but I straight piped the car and the mpg shot up.

I bought my 2019 EX about a month ago. So far I'm getting about 30 mpg, mostly all highway miles due to commute. A lot of stop & go traffic, but overall I'm really happy with the mpg.

How do you drive a gas tank empty? Until the car stalls or until it says 0 miles left?
