I've had my 2018 FK8 Honda Civic Type R,(2nd hand got it with 6tkms) for about 6 months now (now at 9tkms)and this is the build so far:
Vehicle: 2018 FK8 Honda Civic Type R
Total tuned time: 6 months
Total tuned mileage: 4,000 km
Tuning device(s) used: Hondata
Tunes used: Hondata, +Custom Tune by Leo from Speedwork Engineering
Additional engine mods:
- HKS Intercooler
- HKS Oil cooler (using HKS Super Turbo Racing 5W40)
- HKS Blow off valve ( SUPER SQV IV)
- HKS Racing suction kit
- HKS Hi-Power Spec LII exhaust
- PRL Downpipe
- Hondata Flash Pro (Custom Tune)
Power as of now (dynojet)
382 whp at the front wheels
387 lb-ft at the front wheels
I've also jailbroken the head unit using hondahack and have the hondata app with the flashpro connected for monitoring different vehicle info and I have a Cusco strut bar.
Problems/issues: None
Driving style: Low-speed city driving and long higher-speed highway pulls, generally relaxed and short shifting for comfort, every now and then some aggressive acceleration pulls but generally only really banging gears when on a run with friends.
