Just requested that my (refundable) deposit for the Eventuri intake be refunded. I love the attention to detail and think you are creating a solid fan (& customer!) base with all the info/transparency. Keep it up!

It's hard to beat in-depth R&D, great communication/info, quality products & killer customer service. It's the kind of company you want to invest your $ with.

Hey Guys!

As promised, the long awaited update on our performance intake! For our full write up, make sure you head over to our Engineering Blog!

Form and function is always a hot debate when it comes to the automotive industry, especially in regard to aftermarket components. With Honda's release of the FK8, the aggressive styling seemed to attract polarizing views when it came to the gaping grills and towering spoiler. Regardless of the plethora of opinions, Honda was sure to make just about every piece of the aero kit functional. We took a very similar approach with our performance intake kit. After months of prototype testing, our first production sample has arrived at our R&D facility.

While the visual updates might be subtle, all of our changes were done for a reason. Our larger airbox houses a bigger, and more free-flowing filter, all while providing protection from residual engine bay heat, as well as keep a sealed channel of air into the system. Our silicone replacement for the intake boot ditches the rubber and plastic stock hose, and offers a slick path for the fresh air, and helps isolate the heat from the MAF sensor. Our new housing for the MAF sensor features precision adjustments to allow for a better flow to the boot all while keeping those fuel trims in check, ensuring engine light free operation on the stock tune. The real improvements are noticeable once you get behind the wheel, though.

To really demonstrate our intake's performance, we conducted months worth of tests, one of which was having our Type R tag along to our last trip up to Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ. We not only wanted to get a baseline of how the stock systems performed when we put the hammer down, but also record real world temperature data both with and without the airbox. With the popularity of open filter designs wanted to make sure we tested all angles. What we found was that while eliminating the box might turn up the volume on the turbocharged soundtrack and slightly increase the flow, the effect of the engine bay heat rippled through the entire cooling system.

Now, for what you've all been waiting for, the main event. How did it perform? We ran a series of dyno tests all through out the same day to ensure the accuracy of our power figures. We also ran these tests after the fuel trims were at a consistent level as to not skew our results.

To see just how well the intake kit performed on the dyno, head over to our Engineering Blog to review the full testing procedure and check out our dyno chart! Those of you interested in owning one of these intakes for your CTR, you're in luck since our discounted presale is coming up toward the end of the month!

Also be sure to keep you eyes out for more information on our intercooler development coming soon.

As always feel free to shoot me any questions you might have.

As per my last update this morning, we're going to be starting our discounted presale toward the end of the month, possibly very early February, with a short sale period to get these on your CTRs as soon as possible ;)

Also as we speak, I'm working on putting together the next update to our blog outlining all of our performance data. Stay tuned!

-Nick
Any word on Price yet? Round about number?

The engineer and I just double checked the photos you sent us before just to be extra sure, and it looks like the intake is exactly the same worldwide. We're in the process of triple checking the part numbers before we confirm the fitment!

How do i pre order and whats the price? I also will cancle my eventri order
I will be dropping a link to a product page at the end of the month! :D

No exact presale price just yet, but I can say that it is priced very competitively with the few other kits that are on presale!

Wow nice work! Another Swede here that’s needs a pm =)
I'll shoot you a PM as well! Also check out my response below!

Perhaps we can work something out @Mishimoto @wassen ?
I have used https://www.jetcarrier.com a couple of times. They specialize in shipping from the US to Scandinavia =)
With the large international interest in this presale (most I've seen so far!) I'm looking into the best way to get these shipped to you guys once the presale ends. I can't make any promises just yet, but we're looking into it! There is also the option of Jetcarrier for all of you located in Scandinavia ;) I'll keep you guys posted!

Also, just to clarify, I'll be dropping a link in this thread to the presale once it goes live! We're still planning on the end of the month! :D
