I installed my kit today and then went for a test drive, I noticed the clutch felt alot harder than normal and squishy at times like it was getting stuck. I gave some throttle and then felt the car pull back power engine light came on with a revmatch emissions notification. Went back to the shop and the code showed a p0102 problem, so I checked that the MAF and it looked to be clipped in and nothing wrong with connection so I cleared the code. Went to check to see what was causing the clutch issue and then noticed that every time the clutch was depressed I could see the aluminum tube move. Turns out the tube was hitting the clutch line where the slave cylinder is. Tried adjusting the tube but there isn't much room for free play especially with that bracket that holds the tube up by the MAP sensor. Has anyone else run into this issue? The tube was literally sitting on the metal actuator? right where the slave cylinder was and I could see the powder coating was scraped off. I took the bracket by the MAP sensor off for now just to give it some space to float, but It was getting late so I buttoned up everything else and left the bracket off for now. Will have a look at it again tomorrow. Can anyone suggest some tips or maybe point to where I went wrong? The good news is that the clutch feels normal now and with it unimpeded the check engine light has not come back and I was able to see that throttle and boost levels appear to be normal in the small amount of of driving I did on the ride home from buddies shop. I'll have to mess with everything and try to get it to fit properly tomorrow, but that seemed so odd that it this happened, havent seen anyone else report this issue either.
