Mishimoto's Type-R Intercooler R&D Thread

Hey Guys,

So if you haven't seen in the other threads already, we finally got our very own CTR yesterday.

We admittedly got a little impatient on waiting to start our projects, including an intercooler, so we actually had a loaner in the shop on Monday to get a little bit of a head start. Dan, started out by checking if our fitment prototype intercooler for the 1.5t would fit in the space.

As it looks the piping is completely new for the CTR, which means we might have to start from scratch for this project. I'll have updates for you as soon as I can, but until then shoot any suggestions my way, and feel free to ask any questions you might have!

Few simple mods will wake up this car, even with the same tune.
1) A good free flow CAI
2) Better Intercooler
3) Better flow DP.
4) Get ride of the cats.

I'm in York, PA so if you guys are indeed in DE...it's not much for me to get down there-! I go there to TireRack to pick up tires regularly.
