Wow - thanks so much for the info.

I'm honestly a fan of the OEM ones for build quality and finish - my only concern is how they look from the side. I'm new to car mods though, so maybe this is a normal look? But from other's posts I see the OEM ones look like this from the side:

... is this "normal" ? Does it look akward that they come down like that? The Salusy tips seem to be more of an extension of the existing exhaust, but I can't find a good "side" and "bottom" pic of those! What do people think?
I’ve honestly never seen the OEM ones apart from in adverts and I’ve only seen the aftermarket ones on one other Civic in the past. Knowing that the pipes face downwards, it’s really those in “the know” would only suspect their functionality. I took some pictures of mine for you for reference. Hope this helps.

As you can see, there isn’t much of a flag on the back end of the pipe like the OEM ones. I suspect it’s because of the angle the OEM ones have to attach to the pipe to make it functional. Who knows. It’s a strange design nonetheless over the non-Honda tips.

Plz post up pics of install!

Sorry, I just saw this. Almost have it all put back together :(

@ACUITY has amazing video and PDF directions

I have a couple shots though.

The rocker and spring went in very easily.
Dash and center console came apart easily.

Releasing the cables from the shifter assembly was tricky. A small flathead screwdriver is needed.

About to mount with new bushings. Almost lost a bushing bottom. I used supplied grease to stick them down when mounting. Also, one hole was a pain to thread.

My parents got me these for my birthday! Can't wait to put them on, I'm gonna order the amp and sound dampener this week so I can install them next weekend.

File this under people are careless assholes...

So this morning on my way to work I was chilling at 60 mph in a right turn only highway exit lane. Traffic in the other lanes was pretty much at a standstill. Out of the blue, at the last second, some jerk from the lane to my left cuts right in front of me. He was literally doing about 5 mph and made no effort to speed up as he cut in front of my car which was doing 60. After slamming on my brakes and swerving off to the shoulder, I avoided the near miss.

I get it. The guy was impatient in the traffic backup and decided to exit. But if you're gonna cut in front of cars doing 60mph, speed the hell up!

Began the LED interior like conversion, burned my finger on the dome light and those damn tiny vanity mirror bulbs are a pain to get out. Using this kit here https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07KMKD12G/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 would have preferred it be a little bit warmer of a white and they should have used the Dome light on the trunk light also if you ask me instead of the same bulbs as the map lights. Map lights are super bright though, I can see the entire dash and front seat through the window tint from outside the car.

Edit: Update to add my review of this kit, 3 out of 5 stars, the Map and Dome Lights are excellent, the Dome Light has more actual LED chips on it then the Map lights so it outputs more light, the problems with this kit are 2 fold, the Trunk light should have been the same as the dome light so as to provide more lighting in the trunk and the vanity lights are completely worthless, when in the installed position the LED board is firing toward the mirror instead of out toward the person so they actually have LESS light output then the stock bulbs.

Picked up some Acura CSX type S rims that had tires on them for next to nothing because they were curbed pretty bad. Sold the tires for more than I paid for everything, then did a quick and dirty one afternoon filler, primer, paint, and clear (oh and lots of sanding) job. Before and after (ignore how dirty the car is )
