I’ve honestly never seen the OEM ones apart from in adverts and I’ve only seen the aftermarket ones on one other Civic in the past. Knowing that the pipes face downwards, it’s really those in “the know” would only suspect their functionality. I took some pictures of mine for you for reference...
The main different between the OEM (top two) and the aftermarket (bottom two) are mainly how they bolt onto the pipes as shown below. ALSO, and this might be a deciding factor, the OEM are designed to have the exhaust gases flow through it, where as the aftermarket ones are faux tips, the real...
I remember seeing this awkward Civic commercial on YouTube and saw the tailpipes and kept searching for them.
As far as the vibration, I worried about that too. The bolts are pretty set into the tailpipes so I don’t think they’re going anywhere... fingers crossed.
I got mine off eBay from seller Autodaby.

I’m happy with the way they look. Super easy to install with two bolts on each pipe. Mine came with the sized allen wrenches. Took all of five minutes to...
No worries, first day with them in rainy weather was good. We will see when the snow starts falling. I feel like I paid close to $800 for my Blizzaks on the CRV.
Chinese brand that relocated to Canada. They had decent reviews online apart from road noise. Walmart first started selling them years ago, but the only online reviews were in Polish and Russian.
Now there are a handful of sites with reviews. They were inexpensive enough (on sale for $65/tire)...

Antares Grip 20's installed today.
I just got back from GTA and experienced lots of wheel spin from every stop with the All-Seasons so I committed to some winter boots for this car. Let's hope they serve me well. I had Blizzaks on my CR-V years ago and they were amazing. I never...
The Sting, are you referring to visibility past the incline of the hood on both sides? I have this issue occasionally since I am coming from a VW Golf TDI. Because of the headlight/fender design I felt like I couldn't get a feel for where the sides of the car are especially maneuvering tight...
Defintely works.
I was the 2nd car in the left turn lane at a 6-corner intersection today. We had the green so as the car in front of me went, I went. I had some heavy glare in my direction from the sun so I didn't see the car in front of me slam on the brakes because a couple pedestrians...
I'm sorry, I read your response wrong. For RDMS and LKAS, I only get audible warnings and wheel vibrations too. Unless I get the "Steering Required" warning when the ACC and LKAS is on, then I will get an audible warning after several minutes without input.
I always wanted that Accord LXi as my first car. I feel like everyone at my high school had them back in 2001 because they were so cheap and easy to find.
I definitely miss my TDI though, but VW really ruined the experience for me at the end. They didn't even ID me when I turned in my car...
I get that sometimes. I think it just depends on how urgent the system thinks the inputs should be. I will say, I wish the audible warning was more intrusive. If you are listening to music higher than say 15-16... you will not hear the audible warning. It's very faint.
Hey all,
I need some advice here. I'm in the process of moving to Canada and I plan to import my '17 Civic with me. I have already contacted HFS who said they would not allow the car out of the US, so I will refinance it with Capital One when my landing date is approved. Capital One said...
I'm curious about this. My friend said the same thing and he works for Honda as well. On the flip side with my US Civic, my Honda Care for my Civic states it's valid in US, Canada and Puerto Rico.
I've been trying to research this since I'm moving to Ontario in about a year.
It's not going to be anywhere near the TDI, to be honest. I was getting close to 750km on my Jetta, but I had a lead foot with my TDI because that torque was addicting.
On my Civic, I get about 450-500km per tank of mostly city driving. Mind you, my speeds rarely exceed 60kph on Chicago...
Not pictured in my Civic, but my Boston Terrier always hung out in this during our road trips. It straps into their harness so they're pretty safe and secure on long/short drives.
So I will tell you my experience with Sensing on my EX-T having had the car for a month. I've driven my car about 4200 kilometers already. (I drive between Chicago and Toronto several times a year).
CBMS:
While I have not had the balls to trust the system deliberately, I can tell you that in...
