Sorry man I don’t have any pics but it’s pretty clear where to put the zip tie. I don’t think it will pop out. The zip tie ewe just extra insurance.
I don't remember hearing about any recalls on the brakes. Recalls are safety related btw.
Your brakes seized/rotors scored etc due to lack of movement and exposure to the elements. Dealers have to manage their inventory by moving the cars. Glad your tires didn't flat spot!
Agreed, but it is still a good idea to get her rolling, burn the old gas, get the parts lubed etc. I'd use the maintenance as a reason to stretch her legs.
The Pro Kit pretty much feels stock most of the time. You will get a slight jar but again very rarely. Had 4 adults in the R last night with zero issues Summers will sit wider with the +38 offset, but still doubt there will be any issue/rubbing..... Highly recommend the Eibach Pro-kit.
You are right mano, you will lose your shirt and then some. Maybe if you had a lot of miles on your car, but yours is essentially brand new still. I would guess you are looking at a 10k walk minimum for minimal changes.
If you want blue that bad, take 3K of that 10K you were considering...
I confirmed this today too...… $2165 CAD a corner so here in Ontario, that would be $9785 with Provincial Sales Tax for a set.
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA NO.....
Just had the same thing happen to me today in my FK7.
Since the cable guide sits fine in the shifter, I used a zip tie (2 actually) to anchor it to the shifter itself should the guide want to rotate counter clockwise and pop out.
We have the Invidia Gemini on our FK7 and love it. Based on that and videos online I went with the R400 for the FK8. From the outside, the R400 sounds great, nice growl.
On the inside, it’s pretty loud and the drone for me was unbearable. Had it on for 3-4 weeks and ended up taking it off...
Got some new vinyl badge overlays from @VinylMod_Patrick. Loved the black camo but can’t beat the reflective red on red paint. Nice new packaging and 3M vinyl. IG @rayzorman46
