Got it all back together with 4 dabs of hondabond in the corners and a fresh OEM valve cover gasket.

Why cover the beautiful titanium pipe? Does the insulation really make a significant difference?

I bought it preowned and it was covered with the heat tape. I tried multiple cleaners and could not get the adhesive off so I rewrapped the pipe and left it alone. I originally had the idea to send it off to Rampage for the burnt titanium look.

That makes sense. That burnt look does look awesome.

Installed the PRL inlet pipe and Cobra CAI with fresh tune from Phearable. Gotta say this is the highest cost 1-2hp gain I've ever done. Looks dope though. I was also underwhelmed with the "whoosh" sound. The SRI setup was much louder. Time for BPV upgrade 😎

Ordered the Whiteline anti-lift kit and some Continental Extreme Contact Sport 02. That with my new swaybar links, an alignment and the increased caster from the ALK, it should be fun.

Our turbo set up wants air recirculated and not released to atmosphere.
Could you elaborate a little? I'm pretty familiar with how a turbo is designed and functions, and I know how a BOV works, but I guess I'm not exactly clear what a BPV does... My understanding is that it retains most of the pressure in the charge pipes when letting off throttle so that you don't have lag while building up psi again. Is that close enough?

if so, would a BPV then be better performance-wise in our cars than a BOV? I heard they MAY be harder on the turbo because of some back pressure escaping back out against the turbo fins, giving it that characteristic sound, but what are your thoughts?
