I bought it preowned and it was covered with the heat tape. I tried multiple cleaners and could not get the adhesive off so I rewrapped the pipe and left it alone. I originally had the idea to send it off to Rampage for the burnt titanium look.
I tried to order one from HondaPartsNow and it’s back ordered. I gambled and just painted my stock one, I do suggest really scuffing up the surface during prep. I didn’t do it enough and had to redo a few areas
Finally painted my valve cover and got some hardware from Downstar to finish it off. This was my first time applying the wrinkle finish paint and I should have done better surface prep.
I am currently at almost 90k, been tuned since about 30k. For the last 10-12k I have been on the 1.5R tune. My only mods are basic, Cobra intake, turbo inlet pipe, CVT cooler. I use OEM CVT fluid, and do pan drains around every 20k miles. I have had zero issues. Like others have said No...
I am currently running the 1.5R tune on my sport hatch and I have ZERO complaints. I have the cobra CAI, TIP, intercooler and piping from PRL and a 27Won catted DP. Its smooth and rips on mid/top end. I agree that the TIP is bit of a pain to install.

It’s expensive but well worth it. I ended up doing the charge pipes from them as well.
The biggest issue I had mounting the cooler in my grille area was running the hoses down to the sandwich plate. I was lacking room because of the charge pipes and intake. I was concerned with...
I decided to not risk it considering it was discontinued way before I found that posting plus the price. I ordered one directly from ETL, had it within days, saved A LOT of money.
