I don’t have any experience really with working with cars, but any tips with installing the bms intake? Basically just attach bms hose with the maf housing and then filter, right? And it just sits in the stock box? Do I need to be really careful with the maf sensor?I ran Ktuner base, TSP stage one, and custom after turbo swap with this intake, all with good looking trims and afr

thanks!
Oh so everything is cool with the same rods and block, stock? That's one of my biggest concerns haha, don't want to nuke my engine.I added a PRL catted DP when I had the turbo put in. Definitely a big power jump. I thought it was even more noticable than the non tuned to tuned jump
My Dyno numbers aren't very sexy due to weather constraints when I had them run, but on Virtual Dyno pulls it's been around 265-270

That's to mount the MAF to the airboxDo you know what this piece is for?
I can’t seem to get the orientation of that piece to fit right. Does the flat end connect to the housing or the air box?
The linked picture shows the orientation I used for the mount
Did you upgrade your intercooler? The bms at $299 is enticing.Hahahaha
But on all seriousness, the results matter, and you have them. I wish more people would post them
Future project as well. Hopefully an intercooler further down the road. Another area without many real numbers to look at.

All of the data I posted was with the car stock aside from the tune listed and the intake listedDid you have an upgraded intercooler for your initial tests with this intake?
I'm looking to get an intake for my 1.5T CVT, and a SRI has been on my list, though I am aware of the heatsoak problems that comes with w/o an upgraded intercooler. It's on my list, just haven't gotten there yet.
Good to know!! Makes the SRI swap much more viable to me, thanks for all the info and sharing. All of the data I posted was with the car stock aside from the tune listed and the intake listed
Intercooler, turbo swap, and downpipe were added afterwards
