HISTORY, STORY, EXPERIENCE, COMMENTS
Purchased this car used May 1st 2021 with 25,500 miles. Had the opportunity to drive a relative's 2017 FK7 and absolutely fell in love with the car. It is not the fastest car in a straight line, but it is an absolute joy to drive. Is the first car I've ever bought and I could not be happier with it. Coming from my parents' 2004 Chevy Tahoe (with 331,000 miles), this was a huge upgrade for me in fuel economy, performance, ride quality, and just as a car in general. I typically drive 20 minutes, 17 miles one way to work (12 miles highway, 5 miles "city"), and can average 40+ mpg on my commute. Per fill up, I see 34mpg average (accounting for idle running, times where I like to have fun, etc.) and spend $30 at most per tank.

9/7/2021: Saw 48mpg on a 33 mile commute with an average speed of 64mph. 70F and low humidity.
10/31/2021: On the 29th I ran over something that destroyed one of my tires. Another tire had a large & growing bubble in my sidewall, and the 4 tires had 36,000 miles on them. Bought a set of Douglas Performance 215/50R17s as replacement.

I definitely have plans for this car in both cosmetic and performance avenues, but I intend on keeping this car long term so reliability is a must.
