Done with the install. Took about 4 hours and didn’t have to drop the subframe either. The dude that helped me knew what he was doing and made the install go smoothly! Only thing right now is that the clutch pedal sits a little higher then before and engagement is lower than stock. I’ll break it in for 500 miles and adjust it to fine tune it to my liking.

I know man! I hired someone who knew what he was doing. He also only charged me $300 for the install but after I test drove it I had to give an extra $100 in there for gas money. Worth every penny

Yep, on jack stands on an inclined driveway under the scorching SoCal sun.
I mean, I figured y'all did it yourselves, but I meant 'DIY write-up?' ? I should've been more specific.

Lol! ? Unfortunately I am not very good at that. But he pretty much took off the intake, battery, and ecu and moved the harness out of the way. From there he started undoing the tranny bolts. Once undone, we jacked the tranny to create a separation and moved it out of the way to get tools in there to uninstall stock clutch. Tbh, I could barely keep up with what he was doing, he was moving too quick for me haha

Anywho, glad y'all busted it out.

No kzcmc or cdv delete for now. If I experience issues like the ones previously mentioned in this thread then I might consider. I have only driven around the block. Will report back when I’ve racked up some miles.

Thats awesome
Not dropping the subframe. Did he have to rotate the crank to access all the clutch bolts? How did he get everything to line up properly with minimal clearance?

Others have been able to do the work w/o dropping the subframe:
