No kzcmc or cdv delete for now. If I experience issues like the ones previously mentioned in this thread then I might consider. I have only driven around the block. Will report back when I’ve racked up some miles.
Lol! ? Unfortunately I am not very good at that. But he pretty much took off the intake, battery, and ecu and moved the harness out of the way. From there he started undoing the tranny bolts. Once undone, we jacked the tranny to create a separation and moved it out of the way to get tools in...
I know man! I hired someone who knew what he was doing. He also only charged me $300 for the install but after I test drove it I had to give an extra $100 in there for gas money. Worth every penny
Done with the install. Took about 4 hours and didn’t have to drop the subframe either. The dude that helped me knew what he was doing and made the install go smoothly! Only thing right now is that the clutch pedal sits a little higher then before and engagement is lower than stock. I’ll break it...
I’m sorry to hear that. Hopefully it’s an isolated issue kinda thing. I think you’re the only one having this issue? I might be wrong tho. Type R retro would be ideal but unfortunately out of my budget! Can’t justify the price
I will keep an eye out on the first gear lockout thanks for the heads up. What MTF did you replace yours with? Was gonna go Amsoil but read some horror stories so I got 2 quarts of Honda MTF. I’ll have to save up for kzcmc but will use OE for now
Ordered the ACT street March 2021, didn’t get it until June 2021. Been sitting in my garage for the past couple months. Will finally install the kit tomorrow morning with help from a Honda tech. I’ll Also be installing PRL SS line and maybe CDV delete.
