I’m at 9,800 miles on the stock Conti’s and from looking at them I feel like I can at least double that before new tires. I will go Michelin Pilot sport 4S M245/35/20 when it’s time, check out Costco they have $70 off now through March and do this deal all the time, racked up a $500 rebate check this year by using the Citi Costco card for my bills and paying it off each month, so there’s a tire and a half ‘free’ and they will install two tires, (I believe mount and balance also) included with purchase, one think that’s real annoying is all the TPMS messages with the OEM tires.

I got these to counter the excessive wheel spin on 1st and 2nd gear WOT. The wet traction on these are phenomenal. I would of gotten the sport cup 2’s for the same price but I wanted the wet traction and longevity. Money well spent.

Poway costco would NOT install that size. 245 35 20. Due to the lead installer would figure out it's over 2 percent.

Can't decide if I should just get the ps4s or try the falken...the ps4s are about double the price.

Costco would not install 255/30/20? The 245/35/20 are way further from stock size???
245/35/20 adds about a 4% increase in diameter (and speedo error). 255/30/20 adds about 0.8% increase in diameter. So 245/35/20 is much different in size compared to the 255/30/20.

Yes, that's what I said. Why wouldn't costco install the 255/30?

I'm getting all four swapped for $640 with 255/35R20 Firestone Firehawk Indy 500s.

Would this size rub on stock suspension?

Make sure the shop you have new tires mounted has the proper equipment and knowledge. A bunch of us have had wheels damaged by shops that aren't prepared to swap tires for our car.
Can you please expand on this? What's the proper equipment/knowledge needed?

Supposedly some dealerships don't have the proper machinery to remove/install tires on the oem wheels and will scratch up the wheels when replacing the tires.

I think Honda recommends a special tire machine. I'm not 100% sure that's necessary, but still... You may want to inspect you wheels before you have the shop swap them. The first place I brought mine to, straight up told me they couldn't get the tires off the stock wheels. The second place told me they had trouble. One of the shops definitely scratched my wheels but it was on the inside. Other people here have had much worse.

From what I read - the stock conti's have better dry grip than the PS4s, so in theory, on the same size, the PS4s would perform worse in terms of grip in 1st and 2nd

Im still going to switch over myself too. Stock tires are far too expensive to maintain.
