Poll: Will you tint the windows on your CTR?

I did 35% all around & 95% on the windshield with Llumar Pinnacle Ceramic for $650.00. They did have to remove the smaller spoiler & wiper, but did not have to remove the big boy. It def looks darker on the rear windows & hatch. I will go down now & take a few pics now, but it is going to look dark in the garage.

Why does anyone live in AZ? I can't even go for a walk at night. It's hot all the damn time.

I live in AZ because I can't live in CA any more. Although I have three CA properties I can't deal with the traffic, taxes, and politics. I forgot one other issue, Type R dealer prices in CA. I just came back from a visit and it continues to enforce my desire to stay here. The only thing I like about CA is the food and the weather.

I went darkest legal. 35 all around, 90 ceramic front (illegal but hopefully they won't notice)

If you do the front window, is there a problem when peeling off or putting on the inspection sticker? I feel that when they go to peel off the old one, they would damage the film.

Is it necessary to remove the wing to install the tint? Thats what I was told.

Sorry, must've missed this. No, it's completely possible without removing anything exterior. My tint they said was pretty hard to do since they shrunk it from the inside instead so they didn't remove anything from the outside, but removed the interior plastic around the window.

Tint is almost always installed on the interior. But usuallly heat formed on the exterior first.

Yeah I know that, they said it was more difficult since they formed it from the inside of the window instead is what I was referring to.

Had mine Nano Ceramic tinted today, 15% all around and 50% on the front windshield. They had to remove the rear lower wing. $400.00 for everything, saved me $300.00. I just replaced a CVT tranny in the owners 17' WRX with 6k. Became good friends after the repair

May I like the 35% cars I'm seeing...so I'm going to go for Crystalline cr40 next Thursday. $475 in Parkville, MD. I'll post up some pics of the before and after.

Got mine tinted today and love it!! Gotta protect the interior from them harmful UV rays, won't want pink seats lol 15% back and rear sides 35% front sides and 70% on the windshield
