just wanted to share and my thoughts on anybody who wants to run or currently have aftermarket steering wheels and want to retain the instrument panel and cruise control buttons.
this is specific for the FK8 and so far Nengun and RHDjapan have them (ordered from RHDjapan which currently have them instock). this is a supporting part so you still need the boss kit 226.
WB-SRD-B1S short type = if you want to use any QD type mount.
WB-SRD-B1 standard type = for non QD type mounting.
as Works Bell, quality is great only thing is the brackets that hold the buttons are 3d printed so make sure not to over tighten the screws.
installation is pretty easy and comes with everything plus the buttons and the oem harness.
only thing that i noticed is the location. i’m 6”3 and at first thought i will be hitting it with my knee everytime i go thru the pedals but after a test drive it was all good and the brackets are adjustable fore and aft.
my other option before was to get the Seeker steering wheel with its built in bracket for the buttons but found out its pretty difficult to order and compare to the Works bell you can have a variety of steering wheels.
its good overall and i think the only negative for some is its price. another $300 on top of the other parts.
