Wireless CarPlay Adapter Issue

After updated to iOS 17 I've been running into an issue where when CarPlay connects it voice assistant comes up on my dash.
Music is paused as if it was listening to Siri but Siri isn't active.
Activating Siri and letting it end returns things to normal.
Happens about 80% of the time.

I bought a different wireless adapter and it had the exact same problem.

Anyone else running into this?

That is a possibility.

Currently I'd just like to establish if other people are also encountering this issue and potentially found any workarounds since it's inconsistent.

I also haven't tried a direct connection to confirm it's the adapter and not some other issue with my personal phone connecting to CarPlay.

Your best bet is to unpair it and re-pair it. I am running ios17. It is flawless. Wireless CarPlay.

Just in case anyone else runs into this it’s not the wireless adapter.

I have the same issue wired.

I had the same issue with my iPhone 14 so this is likely a software or firmware issue.

Best solution is to upgrade to Android...

I had a similar issue and it was related to a VPN setting. Just throwing this out there if you use a VPN on your phone.

Paired my friends phone. After that the problem went away.
Even though a phone restart , delete and repair, infotainment restart , etc all failed that worked.
