I've owned 9 cars in my life, never felt compelled to give any of them a name but one of my sisters had a like 2000 Grand Cherokee that she named Lucy (as in Lucille Ball) and I think she may have named a few of her other cars, she calls her current car (a 2nd gen Insight, the sedan not the hatchback) the Hamster Wheel, because she jokes about how weak the engine is that it's basically a hamster on a wheel worth of power.

Wow, am I the only one naming the vehicles (I own or owned) with ruffian/prisoner-sounding names?
Cars: Bogard, Bogard Jr, Bogard the third
Fortuner: Dagul
Motorcycles: Tulume, Tulume dos

I didn't name our cars, my wife did. She named the 95 Civic "Veronica", the red 01 S2k "Diavola", 05 S2k "Habu", the 08 CR "Smurf". The 2020 Si she named "Pearl".

Since you have 3 S2K's can I have one? ;)

My real question is do you prefer the AP1 or the AP2?

I have been asked this on several occasions and to be honest I must say after living with and enjoying all 3 for several years I can't answer because its my opinion they are all very similar yet different cars each delivering a uniquely memorable driving experience. I will say this .....

The NFR 01 (AP-1) is a much more visceral, angry or raw platform. Its even somewhat evil in its unforgiving nature of driver error and has reminded me I am not Michael Schumacher more than once... I like that... It made me a better performance driver in that it commands respect and will bite you if you get in over your head without the least bit of warning.

The GPW 05 (AP-2) is a refined S2000. Is it a better car? Thats purely subjective with its softer ride, slightly slower steering, amenities and being more comfortable as a daily driver or on longer trips etc. but still, it's a driver focused true sports car. The difference is you will get a bit of a warning if you push her close to the limit and you can save yourself from some embarrassing moments.

The ABP 08 CR in my opinion is more an AP-1.5 .... think of the CR as an AP-1 with an AP-2 motor .. a car caught between the best of both worlds and a well executed compromise. Though it is 99 pounds lighter due to not having a spare tire, folding top, or the related mechanism its basically a return to most of the driving qualities of the AP-1 in having a very, very similar feel and handling dynamics except you get some limit warning like the 05 AP-2. In my opinion the CR is extremely over-rated ... Its greatest (and only) appeal being its low production numbers. That said I enjoy all 3 for their unique and slightly different “personalities”.

Shadow, A.K.A Shadow the Hedgehog.

I'm still modding but it'll revolve around Shadows color scheme.
