Does your car have a name? Or do you refer to it or her as the car? How did you come about the name choice? Named after someone famous? Did it take you a longtime to come up with a name? Is the name related to the color?

Uhhh unofficially, she's "Amber", named after this chick from college. Never called her by her name tho.

I have always called my cars by a female name. But then I started driving on a 1967 Dodge Polara. Yes, I am very old 56. Most named them back then and spent a lot of time under the hood as well. Something about dwell meters and timing lights for those who remember those things. The only "Other Women" the wife will permit me to have. I call mine Christine because she looks so aggressive and the other I needed a name. And I was watching the movie with my daughter so why not. I had just brought the car home and after the movie I thought I would show the car to my daughter. So I introduced her as Christine. My daughters eyes got a little bigger. I said Christine start your engine. She did as I had the key fob in my pocket. My daughter almost fainted looking at her with huge eyes. Picture, priceless. She is 13 and loves scary movies but young. Never heard of remote start or much about cars period. Working my way through the book now.

Same here. I haven't had it through a summer yet, so I don't have any shift knob covers but I'll be keeping fishy in mind if I need one. I wonder if I can find a dinosaur puppet...

Not all the time, but sometimes I call them with these uncreative names:
Galant - Ga Ga
Sienna - NANA! (It must sounds like a monster considered how big it is lol ), or sometimes just Anna
Civic - Ci Ci
