You around Montgomeryville? Asking because I live in PA and see a white Type R rolling around my region - maybe it's you.
I'm not too far from North Wales, but haven't been in that area in a minute. If you seen a Type R recently it probably wasn't me. I rarely drive the car these days.

I'm 27 but love seeing the average age is above 30 maybe even above 40.

Kudos to the 60+ crowd I can only hope to be as cool as you.

Upper side of 50's.

I had a hand-me-down 80's Accord hatchback from my dad, then a '96 Civic Ex and a 2011 Si before my CTR. Honda driver for over 30 years.

30 when I bought this in October. Type R is a keeper for me, feel fortunate I get to enjoy it everyday. Would have zero shame continuing to do so 20 years from now.

What’s up everyone

Just picked up my PMM the other day and my wife commented that I’m getting too old for something with such a large wing.

I’ve been into Honda’s since 1988 when I had Jackson Racing suspension in my CRX.

I thought I was done til they announced the Civic Type-R was coming to the states and I knew I had to get one!! I’m glad I Did! My BEST Honda yet!

I’m 45 years old and proud!!

Here’s a few pics of my Honda’s from the past.

A very interesting thread. I just turned 72 but am still basically a late-teenager when it comes to go-fast machines. However, I am married to a young-for-her-age 65 y-o wife who had advised when I expressed interest in getting a Gen 10 type R that she would not be caught dead riding in a car that looked so rad. She advised that she would be embarrassed riding around in a "kid car". Her words, not mine. Oh well. I guess I won't be getting the Gen 10. Maybe the Gen 11 type R will be toned down enough for her to not have those feelings. OTOH, I will continue to age out and may begin to feel kind of dumb spending the dough for a somewhat ricer car? Time will tell, but stops for no one.

As I said above, I'm 74. I traded my Subaru WRX for the CTR.

My wife is 72. Until recently she drove a 2013 Civic Si, her second one. She had a 2007 Si before that.

When one of our grandsons got his license, she gave the Si to him.
She now drives a 2.0T, 10-speed Accord, her first automatic in 20 years.

My wife prefers riding in the CTR to riding in the WRX. Says it's more comfortable.
