How many years did your factory battery last?

Have 2018 (and wife has 2018 CRV). No sign of any sluggish starting now or last winter....but life experience tells me that 4 years is pushing it for any non-premium aftermarket car battery.

OEM usually 36 months or so, so your doing good.

1/2 a year on the first one, a year on the second one, and the third one a little less than a year, then I replaced it with a Duracell. That one has been going for a little over 2.5 years now. Honda "branded" batteries have been abysmal for me anyhow.

My car is almost 3 years old and battery seems to be ok. Winter in New England can be harsh but I know I'm going to need to repalce it maybe this year. Will probably go for an Optima Yellow Top. I have some after market audio amps tied to it so that will probably not help it in the long run.

Factory battery since March 2017, Factory Battery and car sits outside all 5 and some years. Still fires right up!

Factory one since July 2017, 98k km, 5 winters outside with temps reaching -15C (5F) so far so good

Fluid started leaking out the caps in about 2 yrs. Didny think it was a big deal, but when I was returning the core, battery acid stunk up the car pretty badly.

Just 3 years for OEM battery and my car had intermittent electrical issues. Battery was probably weak. Replacing it with a new and better battery fixed it. I don't have a stock setup though which could explain why.

Bought my Civic used, so I don't know if the battery has been changed. I presume it hasn't. Based on that guess, it’s been nearly three years and no issues so far. Where I live, we get all types of weather, from Canadian winters to Florida summers. But, its days are numbered. I just added a dash cam using an OBDII cable. Though, I might replace it with an AGM battery, given the electral load I plan to add (i.e relay harness for a projector swap).

The battery in my son's EX-L lasted almost 5 years, which is really good for Las Vegas. I'm at 2 years and counting on mine.
