Ever since I got my Type R, I've had issues getting fuel. The nozzle keeps on clicking way before the car is full of gas.
In the morning today I struggled to get the car to half a tank. On the way home I tried again to fill up my tank, and I had the same issue until I held the nozzle in a specific way getting it to work.

I'm 99.5% sure this isn't normal behaviour, and if it doesn't fix itself in next week I'm going to call the dealer for a service appointment.

My car is a 2020 with ~2500 km.

Can happen when you overfill, causing the evap system to become saturated or clogged.

Never been an issue for me - you may need to take it in for service that's abnormal.

It's been like this since I got it. I know the dealer took it to get fuel filled up during the PPI, but I highly doubt they would've overfilled it.

I've never had this issue. You should definitely get this checked out because it's not normal

This happened the first time I filled up, but realized the nozzle wasn’t all the way in. Just make sure you insert it all the way in and then press downward so it locks it in.

Had it happen to me a couple times at a Shell station. No issues at the Valero..... shrug

This has happened to me too since the first time i filled up. i have to have the nozzle partly the way out or it basically wont pump. I thought it might have just something different with the car.

Abnormal; I've never had an issue with filling my tank up.

Actually happens every now and then and is super annoying lol. Never could figure it out.

Hasn't happened in a while though.. but I need to tank up later so we'll see.

Happens to me often if i dont put the pump in the right way. Never had such a temperamental gas tank before, but i have to have it sitting at the right angle and right position otherwise itll click like its hit the filling point

don't stick it in so far (hahaha.....couldn't resist that one)

but seriously, stick it in all the way, then pull it back out an inch or two, so only about half the pump shaft is in the tank, then start pumping, and also pump slow, not fast, only about half speed
That's what she said....

Never had any filling issues. Suggest taking a couple of videos demonstrating the issue for the dealer.
