PSA: Fuel door automatically opens under hard right turns

Just a quick public service announcement in case anyone gets caught off guard when they notice that their fuel door is open after a track event. I noticed that my fuel door automatically keeps opening at a recent track event. If you keep your doors unlocked, the fuel door will automatically open under hard right turns due to the high G loads. Easy fix would be to tape the fuel door closed.

It does and I confirmed that this works. I don't like locking my car doors at a track event for obvious reasons.

If you did have an off, I think the ecu attempts to unlock the doors automatically if an airbag goes off. I think most new cars do this.
