According to Tire Rack, 16" Moda MD24 wheels fit the 2017 Civic Si.

Looks like this may be my only option. I did 16" winter tires when I had my LX, now that I've moved to Si I'm either buying rims or more snow tires, again. Ugh. I have a few different options here on hand, will have to try a test fit.
Of course we got a foot of snow overnight, two days after I bought my Si. :p

The 8 th generation SI mags hang on the brake calipers at the front of our Si.
You must either grind the bars from 5 to 6 mm so they no longer hang, or place
10 mm spacers.
I preferred to grind, even if it is more difficult, so the tires would stay inside and not throw rocks and mud on the body.
You can see the result on page 3 of the thread : What's your SI looking today.

16’s will NOT fit Si front brakes. This has been proven ad nausium. Unless of course you are adding 4” offset spacers.... 17’s min and even at that you have to check....

Would you say the Nokian r3s are quiet for commuting long distances?

Oh by the way to add data on 17in wheel fitment the 04-08 TL wheels clear our front brakes with lots of room to spare without the need for spacers.

Damn! I never saw your question.
I don't mind them. I find the coupe for some reason is just louder then my LX sedan no matter the tires.
Only time I find issue is some call reception on hands free some people can hear road noise but I thinks it's just the car.

I have done a 9 hr round trip from Edmonton to Grande Prarie and the road noise is no issue for me. Been a cold ass week here -40 with wind and they have been great.

Cheers!
