Is there anyone out there that runs 87 octane on their si regularly? I'm considering it since I don't really push it lately just commuting alot in stop and go... But on 91, I get 5.4L/100 km on average on this commute but pretty sure I piss off people even though I'm in the slow lane.

I did everything imaginable. Didn't work. The fan on the left bulb still blows air into the housing . If I have spare money I'm going for the ss3 pro maxes from diode dynamics. No mess no fuss max light.

I have them in my fog lights. Installed them since the end of 2020 and they're still going strong. The only problem I have with the fog lights is moisture build up within the lens so FYI. Originally I thought the moisture would cause premature failure of the bulb but it looks like it didn't so...

@pinhead66 i was originally planning on doing lines since i need to do a brake service anyways but am not a fan of needing to fuss around with poor fitting parts. based on your experience i think i'll wait for someone to make a truely direct fit option thanks for that. saved me a headache.

@pinhead66 @Si2020 can anyone confirm the part number for the Goodridge SS brake line on the Si sedan? I looked up the form i see Humza from unity got the 20040 and am looking for further part number confirmation for people that installed them. Thank you!

The direct OEM replacement is H5 . Costco I think has the H5 wet cells in warehouses but due to COVID lockdown restrictions I'm not sure you can even buy them in the warehouses anymore. H5 is your reference point for size . Others will work just may not fit the stock tiedowns etc.

@youo34 if you can trust them, yep 30W per bulb is less than stock i believe should be fine let me know if you develop condensation in the housing after you use them for awhile

@youo34 did you check if the amazon ad stated it was 60 watt per bulb or 60 watt per pair? Personally I would be concerned if it is truly 60W per bulb. not a fan of amazon bulbs either way silicone gaskets in these prone to suboptimal sealing -> moisture accumulation in housing (happened to me)...
