After months of babying my car Si Coupe, taking it back down to the stock tune trying to make it last...finally. Got the email last night and got my stuff ordered. I can't wait to finally be able to add parts and get it on the dyno.

Where did you order it from? Direct or 3rd party?
Direct. I got the email last night.

itll still never be as fun as that ...CRX monster
Man, you got that right!!! My CRX is just amazing. I can't wait to it back into the shop and out of mothball state. Getting ARP headstuds, GSR cams, also considering new ECU to run boost by gear or traction control....then bump the boost up some.

Glad to hear you ordered it. It's a fantastic clutch so far. 600 miles on mine

Which clutch did you go with? I’m curious to see if anyone has or is gonna try the 6 puck. But anyways, congrats on finally getting a clutch that’ll be able to hold actual power.

since the OP never updated on his progress i thought i would. i bought the act street kit and am currently prl big turbo with full bolt-ons. you do get the lock out at high rpms so definitely plan on ordering the kzcmc or similar cmc upgrade.

I’ll do a review when I get my competition clutch stage 2 from prl. I’m hoping no lockouts, I’ll be using a prl braided line. Also going to do a CDV delete.

Did your issues clear up after upgrading the CMC?

Does the tranny need to come down to change the CMC? Should it be done at the same time you are changing the clutch?

just ordered the kzcmc so i havent received it yet. plan on installing it as soon as it arrives tho.
Great, be sure to report back. We'll have to add ACT to the list of clutch kits that don't always "just work" out of the box.

Here's to hoping Competition Clutch pulls through with their new kits...
