Tune is not necessary, but highly recommended with an aftermarket downpipe.
Some if not all aftermarket downpipes will throw a CEL though because of the increase in airflow, and the only way to disable it permanently is with a tuning device (KTuner)
Plenty of topics on the subject saying that yes they indeed can find if they look for it that you've flashed the car.
Now, I've been to the dealership at least 5-6 times since I got the car tuned and I never got any comments on having a tune on the car or having flashed the car multiple times...
Thats the Canadian model so it came like that from factory, but yeah those headlights are x1000 better than the halogen on the American model, looks way more aggressive I feel like. Tag me if you ever change the headlights on your Si I'll want to see that!
Hey guys,
Some people wanted to hear what a muffler delete + catted downpipe sounded like, I don't remember the names of the users though, so just putting this right here for everyone.
I was on summer tire on a wet and cold road so tire spin + the high rpm lockout limited me a bit in term of...
Cause people are too lazy to use the search function and you always have people bragging about running a BOV on their car and oh wow they don't have issues and blablabla
This guy has been called out by Drob, Vitviper and pretty much every top tuner in the 10th gen scene after this video, he even deleted the comments from Drob calling him out about his video in the comments section. Don't take this guy's word for granted he probably had a sponsorship going on to...
I have a muffler delete with PRL's Catted downpipe. I would never go catless. The catted downpipe already adds a lot of noise, but it's not fart can type of noise, it just compliments the extra noise from the muffler delete.
It does get a lot louder though at certain RPM.
Well if something is loose and you tap on the gas pedal, the engine will create more vibration as the rpm goes up so the loose thing might also vibrate more
well at this point I think you're just taking things too personally. I think we are way past the point here and if you only want to argue I'll see myself out.
That's the whole point of building a car past the factory power.
Mod > Break > Rebuild > Repeat. Lol. You can mod any car you want something is always going to break when you exceed what it's been designed for. You could have a Lamborghini or a Civic, if you go past the factory specs...
No one is trashing you, we are simply stating facts. You should do your research before buying any aftermarket parts anyway. Better be safe than sorry.
