After Tropical Storm/Hurricane Nicole, I spent 4 hours this morning detailing the car. I don't have a garage so the Si took the brunt of it. I found oak leaves and sticks in areas I did not think would get into. Thank goodness for a leaf blower!

i have an oak tree that made a mess all over my cars during both hurricanes. I was out at 11 yesterday morning spraying that shit off. Had a nice size limb fall about 2 ft from the si. Phew!!

Glad I have another vehicle as well, don’t want to drive my car thru all the bullshit

When picking wheels I knew I wanted either silver, bronze or white. Glad I chose silver as it keeps everything monochrome (minus the blue lug nuts as amazon f'ed up my order). I saw a black set of NT03s around the same time the silver set popped up on fb but they look so much better in silver.

Had a few things installed this morning.
- PRL front pipe that I grabbed from @04sthemi
Perrin RMM inserts
Accord endlinks

overall the exhaust sound on the car is a bit deeper, perfect with the stock HDMI.
Rmm inserts i haven't really noticed the NVH but the car does feel better during shifts.

Engine bay needs a cleaning

Hit a bump from a bridge on a toll going about 90. Lost my skid plate. Add another civic owner. I swear I put it back good after oil change but one too many hard bumps. I had to pull over on overpass luckily plenty of space on side and inspect. Thought I blew a radiator or had some massive leak at first lol... Didn't see fluid flying behind me (couldn't just pull over right away) so then thought front end got messed up. Nope skid plate hanging down in middle ripped it off and threw it in trunk. Looks like I'll have to get that third party skid plate with oil change doors. Front plastic isn't messed up from look of it. Might have to just drill some self tapping screws in on the damaged plastic in back to the frame or something...

But not sure if I'm screwed with that back piece or if I'll have to jerryrig something once the aftermarket one comes in. I'm just glad nothing too serious.

Whew! The skidplate + front piece is great. I got it. Sturdy and great for maintenance. Hopefully everything else is ok.
