Normally I don't have any unique pet names for my cars. When I had my 2000 Honda Prelude, it was 'The Lude". When I had my 2011 Honda CR-Z it was "The Z". But when my gf saw my new Si, she was "Oh, it has a tail like a fox, he's foxy!" She was talking about the spoiler. So, it just stuck.
She also called my CR-Z 'BUG' because it was tiny like a bug. lol

Hmm. All my cars have at least a nickname. 2008 3500 Dodge Dually is Big Blue. My old 2013 Chrysler 200 was named by a friend. I would show up out of nowhere and be right on his bumper. He said, your car is so plain, a grampa's grocery getter. All of a sudden, you would be on my *** bumper and I never saw you coming. You are like a ghost, a grey ghost. GreyGhost would get there fast at roughly 450WHP with 100 shot of nitrous. She could door a Z06 Corvette on the dragstrip. My wife's 17 EX-T is nicknamed Chill'n. Always cruisin around in Eco mode, lol. I find it frustrating to get punk'd by someone when driving it, knowing if I was driving my car, it wouldn't be happening. It hard to run someone when the ole lady is slapping you upside the knoggin. Finally, my 2020 Si is called Shadow. Running the streets, I stalk pony cars and sport euro's. I wait for them to bust out and then I chase em down, give em a wave and back out. How do you feel about your 60-80k car now, lol.

Like others I mainly just refer to it as Si. I also call it by she/her. Hopefully it's not a guy, girl transitioning to a guy, or whatever kids name themselves these days.

My fiance started calling the car "the abyss" because of how crazy mirror-like the cbp can be when its cleaned well, that turned into us both just referring to the car as "abyss" when we mention it together.

Looking at your sig I would have thought the abyss would refer to the hole you threw all your money into, lol.

Si of course (not "ess eye" but "sigh"). Short for Simon and Silas. It means to hear, a listener. With a six-speed, listening is an integral part of driving - much more so than an automatic. So the name fits.
