  1. Fuel Door Buzzing Noise

Yep, my started to buzz this winter. For me, it seems to only buzz when temps drop below 50. In Florida that's only a couple weeks out of the year. I did order a new "oem" fuel door actuator in case it took a dump on me. However, I believe what I got was a Chinese knock off to look like OEM...
  2. lowering spring how are your shocks?

Yeah, kind of same deal with me. I developed a front clunk from the driverside. Speed bumps, pot holes, railroad tracks wreak havoc on suspension. I had the driver side front sway bar end link tightened. It was "loose" 1/4 turn. Clunk went away. About 10 months later clunk came back. The same...
  3. Rear Lower Bumper Valance has holes in it? But from what?

Yeah, thanks for this. This is the route I'll probably go with.
  4. Rear Lower Bumper Valance has holes in it? But from what?

I thought about filling, but questioned by steady hands. I'll probably replace the entire valance.
  5. Rear Lower Bumper Valance has holes in it? But from what?

It's so weird, but it does look like nibble marks from an animal or bug. But why one earth would it want to chew my bumper? Did it smell like delicious food? Now I gotta replace the whole thing, because it's such an eye sore.
  6. Rear Lower Bumper Valance has holes in it? But from what?

So, look at this pictures. I've no clue what to think. At first it looked like something ate it away. Like what you see caterpillars do to leaves. But no way something is eating ABS plastic. lol After further inspection, I noticed on the inside looked like some scuff/damage on the inside edge of...
  7. Clunking Sounds from Suspension Mods

Necroing this thread. My driverside Whiteline front lower end link keeps getting lose and causing a clunk. The shop said they had to tighten it up 1/4 turn. It goes away, but then comes back at a random interval. Might be days or might be months. I don't know what to do. I read here to double...

I did want to mention to OP since we're on janky intakes, that looks like you're missing your splash shield underneath the car. Unless you yourself removed it. I can see to the bottom. Now some will say who cares, some will argue it keeps things from flying up inside and hitting stuff. I myself...

Helps with noise control/reduction. Like engine drone. Actually if you get aftermarket, if you are able to, may as well remove it if you can. Just dead weight now. But won't hurt anything if you just leave it and forget about it.
  10. What is next in terms of performance mods?

Clutch kit and flywheel. Consider it an insurance policy that you reap the benefits daily. Def before you go bigger turbo or ethanol. The RV6 retrofit kit is perfect. I got it and it's totally worth it. Don't have to have that feeling like your stock clutch could turn into shattered glass...
  11. Limping after jerking when accelerating.

So what gtman is saying is that it's possible you are running to lean or too rich. Do you have a CEL? Data logging will show. Do you have Ktuner? You can monitor your fuel trims and data log via Ktuner device.

No problem sir! Happy to help a fellow car person and forum member. Yea, some forums are like pulling teeth. The CivicX community is pretty good. A lot of helpful people. I have the PRL short ram intake for the same reason you mentioned. Water. I live in Florida. You get a little bit of heat...

I wanted to add, you have the MAF sensor still, so you do not need to buy a new one. You just transfer that over to the new setup. Which is the top piece part #3 in diagram. Or... If you're unable to find new or even used OEM parts, it may be worth finding a certified Honda shop or...

Looks like they just removed the top filter box, which is two pieces that sit together with the filter inside. Why do pple do such janky things like just having it hang there, bouncing around. Dummies. The resonator box below is still there. So you'll only need the top portion. Piecing it and...
  17. ***Solved***Electronic Parking Brake issues

So they did not even inspect it? Did they charge you to inspect it?
  18. 20k for a FBO w/ 75k miles a good deal on a trade in?

Geez! That thing is gorgeous! Have a bottle of wine ready and cook a gourmet meal, but act casual like, can't a husband do something nice for his wife for no apparent reason? Just be casual and when she asks about the super sexy car in the garage. Just be like, Well guess what!? Then tell...
  19. 20k for a FBO w/ 75k miles a good deal on a trade in?

lol, my bad! Hey, remember when having good credit got you somewhere? Get your credit up they say. Everything runs on credit. That sucks man. Tough place to be. I mean I guess you could refinance in a year or two. Yea, they never care about mods. Sometimes they won't even test drive it, unless...
