I'm a bit confused on spray detailers. When do you use these? Right after a wash, or between washes? If between washes, do you rinse loose dirt off your car first? I see the potential for scratching the paint if not.
I use it for bug splatter and bird poop in between washes, since those damage the paint if left on. Otherwise, I don’t bother with removing dirt/pollen until next wash.

I’m sure rinsing the loose dirt off the car first would be ideal, but I’m normally just trying to get bugs off my front bumper, which already has rock chips, so the extra effort of getting a hose on it does not seem worth it for me. Just use a lot of the spray detailer since it also lubricates, and rotate microfiber cloth often.

Ethos makes good products some others you all may want to look at is Gyeon Wet Coat and Griots Best of Show Detailer. Griots BOS Detailer provides a very nice gloss and makes the color really pop especially on black paint, highly recommend and you can buy it at your local Auto Zone. Gyeon Wet Coat will provide a nice shine but the real benefit is its hydrophobic properties and how simple it is to apply.

I have used griots many time a few years back, but never have heard of gyeon, I'll have to try it out. I will say griots spray bottles piss me off, always leak and trigger isn't the best. Product that comes out of great though!

How about a ceramic wax that's super easy to apply and rally increased shine. I applied the ethos ceramic wax on my new helmet which was already shiny and it increased shine alot, and offers increased protection.

Currently 38% off plus another 10% if you use my code sport-injected. Check it out, another one of their products that work!

yea its not so bad here in the flower city for us CBP owners, especially if you can keep it hidden in a garage during the few weeks we get bad pollen.

Oh the woes of living in the South. I've literally watched pollen landing on my BLACK Si while drying the sucker. :-/ Looked like I just drove through a saw mill.
i feel this one, especially the last few weeks.
