  1. 2017 Civic Hatchback Steering knuckle

The Sport/Sport touring have a different turn radius and steering wheel stops than the LX/EX hatches. I wonder if this is a contributor?:hmm:
  2. The Time Has Come 🥹

That was about to be my question... You had a great build and were a great contributor, Doc. Hope your next ride is as fun! Check in on us now and then!
  3. The Tuned CivicX Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

When I added the bolt ons running Pherable 1.5R, my car felt like I broke something until I installed the revision tune. I already knew about them and purchased it before the mods, but I drove it to check the basic install, and everything felt off. It would bog out when I pushed it and...
  4. What did you do to your Civic today? (II)

I'm not trying to be a cheerleader for Fitment; everyone has their preferences. I just found that they got me into my setup at the best price. I agree they aren't the fastest, but some of that is likely in part to my preference to have them ceramic coated. I do get free shipping though, so...
  5. What did you do to your Civic today? (II)

Yes, they came mounted, balanced, and ceramic coated.
  6. What did you do to your Civic today? (II)

Thanks for the lead. I'm always looking for a bargain, but the wheels were $60 more each there and weren't in stock... Fitment won again for me.
  7. What did you do to your Civic today? (II)

I'm looking to buy a second set of my wheels/tires so I went back to Fitment to check pricing. I knew they already published my car on the Enkei Kojin page but I found it funny that my search triggered the email below. Uhhhh, I sure hope I can get my ride looking like this...😄😆🤣
  8. What did you do to your Civic today? (II)

Got it! And they had a duck tail! Now it's really like mine but Ibwouldn't dream of de-tuning it!
  9. What did you do to your Civic today? (II)

How did you do the license plate? Did you do that as 'other' instead of 'body'? I'm thinking that's my problem.
  10. What did you do to your Civic today? (II)

I edited my Gran Tourismo 7 Civic to look pretty much like my real one! Love it!
  11. What did you do to your Civic today? (II)

    That's priceless!
  12. What did you do to your Civic today? (II)

I figure I'd chime in on the Aeroflap, being as how I have gone through 3 of them. I love the look, and it definitely gives the rear end solid downforce even at lower speeds. You'll find with a little forum research that all kinds of people with hatchbacks have trouble keeping the outer ends...
  13. Are these legit rims?

If ur not tracking, get what you want.
  14. 2019 sport hatch (MT) radar replacement

Replacing it isn't hard but it's important to know that these aren't plug-and-play, even if you get the right part. Mine got damaged when I hit an armadillo. I put the new one in myself but had to take it to Honda for programming. The part was $300, the programming was $600.
  15. Who's The Oldest Modder Here?

56 YO and glad I'm still enjoying modding my cars! Started with my fist car back in '83, a '74 Plymouth Satellite that I turned into a drag car (replaced the 318 with a 383 with hi-rise 6-pack, jacked up rear, pizza cutter front wheels, wide ass rears, typical hot rod setup). When performance...
  16. CVT, torque slip when slowing down (almost stop)

You're right, it's normal. I've seen many threads saying this can be reduced or resolved with a stiffer RMM, but at the cost of some harshness/vibration. Not sure what the RMM would have to do with this unless it just holds the engine better against the weight shift when having to stop...
  17. The Tuned CivicX Experience & Reliability Thread (for all models)

I just replied to your thread on that very subject ;) The revision tunes are selected based on the intake/MAF setup, so I suspect the aftermarket MAFs have an effect on the standard OTS tunes. My car was crazy on the OTS tune after the FBO install (laggy, poor turbo spool, acceleration/torque...
  18. Really interesting development from Phearable

I went FBO in one shot and my performance and normal driving operability on the OTS 1.5R was all over the place (laggy, poor spooling, etc.). I suspect it was the MAF change even though I went street MAF, but the $99 update for the 27WON street MAF solved everything that went south. The data...

  20. What did you do to your Civic today? (II)

I agree with that too! They think they're in a CTR but they weigh a ton!
