Looking forward to hitting them up sometime this summer, unless theres a better Honda tuner in the DMV area which I doubt. Couldn't throw a rock without hitting a Subie tuner lol.
Definitely hit up IMW. Derek is arguably the best 10th gen civic tuner on the east coast. The fact that Derek helped develop all of the KTuner maps for the 10th gen civics, means he has a good understanding why things were done a certain way and where the limits of safety are. Additionally, he does a lot of work very reputable shops such as PRL, so he is very "in touch" with what is happening in the FK8 and 10th gen civic development. Those are some of the reasons why I went with him.

Depends where you are in California, we have 101, and 102 octane
I'm pretty sure with a catted down pipe you do not want to run 101 or 102. If you've done a cat delete than never mind :flame:

You can definitely get 100 octane unleaded from the pump around here but who cares when most people will not be using it on a daily basis.

I'm pretty sure with a catted down pipe you do not want to run 101 or 102. If you've done a cat delete than never mind :flame:
I personally have not done it, just putting it out there.

You gonna daily drive around in 100 octane or got the cash to drive that around? Too much hassle trying to find pumps or keep changing tunes based on the octane
Same reason id rather not go out of my way for Flex fuel kits

What is your theory behind this?
Bigger octane value = bigger resistance to knock = ecu can use more agresive (advanced) ignition and get power. No difference in heat (which can affect cat).

I have done few hardware changes:
Mishimoto Intake
Wagner tuning competition Intercooler

Custom tune with ktuner (100octane fuel, Europe). I have two versions, 407bhp in R mode and 398bhp in Sport mode. Dyno graph attached:
