OK, here's an idea. No separate forums but what about topics like...

"What did you do to you sedan today?”
"What did you do to your coupe today?”
"What did you do to your hatchback today?”

Those would replace the generic stickied "What did you do to your Civic today?”

Would that work? Just an idea to throw out there.
I don't think this is a good idea. Just my opinion only. Except for the trunk lid, hatch and a couple extra doors, these cars are 95% the same. Now I can look at one forum ("What did you do tour Civic today?") to get great modding ideas that I can possibly use. If this was split up into each body style, I would have to look at 3 different forums for mods that can still be used on my body style.

Not three different forums, just 3 pinned topics in the Civic general discussion forum. It was only an idea I came up with to make the hatchback owners that requested a separate forum happier.

There was a time ,when all I heard about on this forum was hatchbacks. I have a coupe so I could of cared less, if anything it seems like there isn't a lot of mention about them.

Being a hatch owner as long as the thread title in general discussion says ‘hatchback....’
I’ll take an interest in that topic first.

Maybe ? The site administrators could make a special “European Honda section:" just for us Hatchback owners . ;)

Lol these people that are augue that there should not be a hatch section. The si has a separate forum which is way closer to the sedan then the hatch. The hatch is built on the same platform as the type r not the sedan and coupe.

Most parts I’ve found that fit the sedans will not fit the hatch.

Please separate them!

The reason the Si and Type R have their own forums is that mechanically they're substantially different than the base turbos. And certainly they are considered to be the performance models (no offense to hatchback sport owners).

The only thing I see that might make sense is separate sub-forums in the cosmetic modding area for coupes, hatchbacks and sedans. IMO that could work. I've run my own car forum for 15 years, and for the most part I think CivicX is set up very well. I know from personal experience you will NEVER please everybody.

And last but not least. To all those asking for a separate hatchback forum...

If that happened, then coupe and sedan owners might want their own forums. Do you guys realize how difficult that would be to re-organize thousands and thousands of existing posts?

If this was my forum, I'd add topic prefix's for sedan/coupe/hatchback that would show up in post titles. That could be a big help I think.

What would be the point? There isn’t one…. No need for that at all…
