I'm 35, have 4 cars, trying to get rid of 2, and pay about $30 a month for my Si. Full coverage w/ $500 deductibles, Mercury Ins. They put me down for 3k miles a year.

It's who you are (age, driving record, credit rating, etc) and location, location, location. Believe our quote for a CTR was $245 per year - less than our '12 Si because it has more safety features!
Miles driven is a big one too.

Very true but they'll kill you with the adjustment if you exceed your "estimate" - 250 miles a month is a weekender only. For LA that's an awesome rate.

This is probably what's going to end up happening. Everyday I don't drive it, I'm thinking about driving it. Lol

I pay 62 a month full coverage, 500 deductible. Bought my 17 SI sedan in june. Only spent about 3 months driving it due to work and am about to hit 14k miles. I have 2 accidents, over 6 and 9 years ago. Not a single ticket since 18 (31) but go two recentltt somehow in the slowest car i have owned.

It's tough to compare insurance rates with other people because there's too many variables.

Also you should try living in Michigan our rates are insane no matter your credit score or driving history

Something not talked about at all is.. 2dr vs 4dr.. 2dr under most insurance is considered sports car vs 4 door is not.. just saying for me a 2dr was quoted 25-35% more per month.
I have a Si coupe so that might explain why it was $20 more a month than my 2017 Focus ST.

I pay ~$900 between my wife and I for the Civic Si, Odyssey, and 300zx twin turbo... full coverage on all with $500k/$250k of liability and $250k property. Deductables are $500 across the board. The breakdown for the vehicles would make the Civic about $60/month

35M btw. No accidents or tickets recent enough to matter .

25/M in Wisconsin, When I first got my 2017 Si it was $68 a month. I then immediately got a ticket (oops?) and when my insurance renewed after 6 months I am now paying $78 a month for full coverage with $500 deductible, $500K/$250K liability and 100K property.

Here's the quote I Received. $80 a month, driven less than 7k miles per year. 300k/300k, $1,000 deductible. $20 more dollars than my 2017 S3

The insurance premiums vary as per your deductibles and coverage. The factor like the age of the vehicle, driving record, etc. also affect the policy rates. My brother, recently got an insurance by comparing different quotes on websites to insure his vehicle. If you wish to save money the best way is to just raise your deductible.

Civic Si sedan here. I'm at $82/month through Geico. Full coverage, high limits (300/300), $500 deductible. 29 y/o, male, in Tennessee, no accidents or tickets in recent history. Estimated 20k miles/yr. I had State Auto through an independent insurance firm, and the insurer increased the rates from $107 to $117 just because. I lol'd and called Geico with my current policy pulled in front of me, and they matched it for $35 less/month. Not tooting their horn, but they're worth a look. If you want some fun at little cost, there's always riding in a yellow taxi :p

The biggest factor is not the car but where you drive it. I live in the Baltimore metro area and we are considered to be the 2nd worst area to drive behind Boston. Insurance rates here are ridiculous. A friend of mine in Maine pays half of what I do and we have comparable cars, credits ratings, driving records, etc.

These kind of threads always remind me of the MPG comparison topics. People just wind up getting jealous of the others who pay less or get better MPG. Honestly, it's apples to oranges.
