Don't believe calendar time is monitored but the run time on the engine vs number of start-ups/temps (oil, water, environment) to calculate mileage to triger the "countdown". OM says to do an oil change every 12 months if the countdown doesn't start before then.
Have fun in an oil thread and read, and learn, about the various "normal" oils for driving normal Hondas in normal conditions - there'll always be exceptions, and oil threads.
Yet to see one in the wild; but I could drop into my local dealer, Bedard Brothers, and view their white one (VIN JHMFL5G46RX001485) which has been listed on their website for several weeks. Assume they still want $$$$$ ADM, (Was +$10k for their first 2017 CTR.)
Without other symptoms it's most likely low coolant ("freon") level causing the AC line pressure to be out of specs and the ECU is protecting the system. You can troubleshoot if you have the "shop manual" available on this site. May be able to get away with a "leak check and refill" at a local...

Gas contaminated with diesel could hamper evacuations : NPR
The affected gasoline and diesel, supplied by Citgo, may have been sold at nearly 30 stations after 10 a.m...
Good Luck - still sounds like the issue is related to last year's brake job. Unless you were "ham-fisted" suggest rechecking each wheel's speed sensor (left rear may be okay as the dealer did that one).
The "tack" you heard is likely the start-up ABS or the e-brake self check, I'd expect all 4...
Old news - the item 1) was to just open the "fill valve" and do not put any gas in - just let it breathe a bit (to see if the issue occurs). This should release any pressure in the tank/evap lines. [I'd forgotten that the 10th gen is a capless set-up so you'd have to open the flapper somehow.]...
Just a SWAG - Assume your fill-ups are to a full tank; try 2 things:
1) Just open the gas fill cap, wait a minute and then shut 'er up and drive it to see what happens.
2) Just do a partial fill, leave it 2 - 3 gallons short and see what happens
The Evap/fuel return system may have an issue...
Been with same dealer since 1999. Sales and service are quick and convenient - within easy walking distance and free rides on bad weather days. They sometimes "suggest" services I'm not interested in and reject without issue. They've been a great help whenever we need a quick service before a...
Yes, post#3 said that the oil, including looking for debris, should have been checked. You can at least discuss the issues with the shop owner but I'd be surprised if you get anything more than a discount for future work. Still don't understand the discussion about "tuning" concerning the...
Not aware of a "Low Oil Level" alert, icon, or information screen messsage in the 2017 Civic line. If you're referring to the "oil can display" that shows a drip comming out of the spout then I can understand it being interpreted as a low oil level indicator. Depending on which side of the...
You do realize the 2017 Civic DOESN'T HAVE A LOW OIL LEVEL INDICATOR/ICON it's a LOW Oil Pressure indicator/icon? Assume clogged intake was the oil pick-up not the intake manifold. Shop probably should have checked oil when replacing turbo but that it would likely have only led to finding spun...
