I used a well nut to secure mine. The first one I tightened to much and it pulled out, but the second one seems to be holding great so far. Well nuts are nice because they are easy to remove and don't damage the hole or scratch any paint.

Gotta do the trunk mod, so simple yet so convenient, great idea. Where do you find that kind of material?

Wow yeah, that's a first for me too. I wonder if the guy doing the balancing just sucks at his job or is using a bad balancing machine.
Went back to discount tire and complained and had them redo the balance with black weights. Now, instead of 10-15+ weights per wheel, I've got 15 weights in use total for the whole car. Looks much better. Only problem is, they don't have a product on hand capable enough to remove the previous tape from the plethora of weights installed beforehand. They didn't charge me but I'm still annoyed as all hell. I have so much tape to remove. I asked the top guy about it and he could only tell me what products he would use if it was his car. So I'm done with that place. Got 3M adhesive remover on its way now. I'll do it my damn self.

3M Adhesive Remover should do it. You can also use with it a rubber wheel used to remove pin stripping, etc.

My son and I installed a spoiler and smoked side markers on his (well mine but he claims it as his) 2016 LX. Then my other son helped me hand wash and waxed it today. Tomorrow the Konig Oversteer 18x8 go on with 235/40R18s.

Those will look great and much better than the ugly hub caps.

Applied gunsmoke Lamin-x tint to one of the headlights. Will give it a couple days to see if I like it before applying 2nd. Also applied screen protector to head unit.
