Doesnāt answer your specific question but for the price and availability I went with Continental DW (not DWS) and have been very very impressed. Feels like CSC6 and gets like 30k miles vs 8-15k, and much cheaper.
CarPlay uses both Bluetooth and WiFi even though itās not directly shown. If you turn off WiFi on your phone while connected, youāll see it ask you are you sure you want to disconnect CarPlay, etc. Also if you turn off WiFi on your radio, wireless CarPlay shouldnāt work. Give it a try and see.
I downloaded an app so all I have to do it click it and it adjusts the brightness down to a low setting I set so itās not daylight at night. Hands down couldnāt have dealt with it otherwise.
No pics, but finally cleaned/oiled my PRL filter and installed some engine bay side covers I had from my previous Si. Gotta make some time to install my doorsill illumination panels and interior footwell lighting š.
You can definitely do that yourself. I had similar damage but repaired it myself. I didnāt do epoxy and all that but just touch up paint from dealer. Donāt have an after pic at the moment but itās virtually unnoticeable.

I did not and have just been dealing with it. Itās honestly not that bad and only really notice it if volume is lower and youāre parked. I can 100% deal with it over the factory radio and the plague of issues it had. Maybe eventually Iāll figure out a fix. I know going aftermarket amplifier...
