I don’t have an exhaust yet....
But I do have a catless Downpipe
Aem intake and a custom tune ...
These are my numbers
Rv6p downpipe made the biggest difference
Lol yep ... I’m just happy I loaned them my car ...One day, RV6 may actually release the downpipe to the open public.
One day....
They did say they might have a batch at the end of the month...\Ahhh so excited for this downpipe! RV6 did say by January they'll release it...
Curious how much an exhaust really helps.
I don’t know ...
well a lx is about $19,000
My mods are around
Aem intake $270
Downpipe $400
Tune $300
So all this just get to the 1.5 turbo stock
That costs around $21,000 .. I think it can’t be compared ...the turbo just has more tuning advantage because of the turbo
Just buy the 1.5 turbo. You’ll spend more money on the 2.0 n/a to achieve the same numbers. Way more money, I’ve done the math already.Sorry, I think I was misunderstood but you are on the right track.
I was trying to get a comparison between an lx 2.0 19,000 + 970 (your mods although ktuner is around 650) = 19,970 (hp = stock 1.5)
vs a stock 1.5 base price ?? (hp = modded lx civic).
I just don't want to drop $$ to get to a base of the same car just a different trim. (excluding the Si and Type R)
I agree I just like NA ... i had an eclipse gsx and 3000gt vr4... still went back to NA ek civics and my current 2016 civic ...Maybe some people just like a good n/a car.
Or maybe it's not all about Dyno sheets.
Thoughts on trade in value for a 1.5l (trading in the 2.0l). Playing around with the idea... Are there any recommended strategies or best ways to do so?Well when horse power and torque per dollar is the topic at hand and someone asks what’s more feasible. Which would be the 1.5t. Choose whatever you will.
