Was just reading up on WRX's in my spare time. Seems that their upgraded turbo options have more trouble with head gaskets than rods, due to the increased cylinder pressure from the higher boost. I wonder how much boost our stock engine can take?

Vit was pushing over 30 in testing but that wasnt like running 30 all the time either

Yeah people that are running Vit's stage 2 are pushing 28psi and close to 370tq and not one has popped that we know of yet. Running a larger turbo is also going to make more power but at a lower boost pressure level...but still higher horsepower\torque is gonna break something on stock internals at some point regardless of boost pressure. You're not going to strap on a GTX3071 and just run 30psi and not blow something up without internals lol. I think Honda did a pretty damn good job considering we're rocking little 1.5 engines and how potent they've proven to be with just some tuning and a few bolt ons.

You need PRL's Frontpipe, Intercooler, and Cobra CAI for this turbo kit to work. You will not need the PRL downpipe as they are making a different one for the kit.

well good thing I havnt gotten mine yet. the wait just keeps getting longer.... I'm sure it'll be worth it tho.

I'll hold off on the intercooler if that's the case. There's no e85 in my area so I'll probaly be hooking up a snow performance water/ meth kit. There's a throttle body spacer with a compatible hole as well . Going fx350 clutch unless somthing new comes out in the next few weeks.

I will buy this in a blink of an eye if they make this kit CARB legal it will remove so many head aches getting the car inspected. Anyone know if they are making this kit carb legal?

No doubt that we will need bigger fuel injectors. I am very excited for this and can't wait to see the final products!

am I doing some wrong research or are all aftermarket fuel injectors around $800 ?

Yeah they had it on sale until end of April for tax return sale.
