How do you like this setup? I'm thinking of going this way as well
I like them so far, but they're a compromise. Some of our roads are bad enough that I wish for the extra comfort of 18s, but I prefer the look of 19s. I also like how it's a Type R fitment that's readily available from Tire Rack.

Is this possible?? I love these wheels but have no interest in adding unnecessary camber, cutting and trimming fenders to get them not to rub?

I've noticed that some will no rubbing...yet later say "well, it kinda rubs on certain sports at times, but not too bad" lol...so be careful. I've run the same setup and it rubs in the rear for sure and on the front also. I was a dumby and didn't listen...so now I'm on factory suspension with some small looking 265/35 tires

No of course, he could just be lucky with the most perfect roads, zero bumps, doesn't take corners hard, etc...then yeah, he may not rub

Great point. People that claim no rubbing often don't take into account full suspension travel or go full lock to lock on steering. It's kind of amusing to see all these people with very low offsets saying no rubbing.

About as amusing as the people saying that a low offset has no effect on the car's handling and braking characteristics ...

Looks great! I am very curious to hear you real world feedback on the tires...they are new from Federal and I have had a very hard time finding any feedback on them. How to do like them, how noisy are they, and how do they handle heat and hard braking? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, thanks! I am running the Michelin Pilot 4S for comparison and my car is a DD (with about 20K miles/year thus is why I wanted a 300TW tire...but the Federals are so cheap in comparison I was debating giving them a try)

I've only had the set installed for about a week and since I don't daily the car, I really cannot tell how they'll perform on the track.

Longest commute so far is about 15 miles of freeway driving. They're not really loud, it's more like a constant "humming" sound.

Coming from Firehawks, these tires are a bit louder if compared.

I'll be testing them out by October in Big Willow. Based on my tire guy's actual feedback, he did say that the RS-PRO is one notch better than the RS-RR in terms of grip and overall performance.

I'll probably post my own feedback after my October track event.

Hope this helps.
