  1. â–ş APEX | New Forged Sprint™ Line - Lightweight Motorsport Wheels For Your Civic Type-R

I'm currently running the EC7 also. I love Apex quality and designs. I have had them on all my cars they make fitments for. I will definitely be ordering a set of Bronze SM10-RS in a 18x10+42 if you do release them.
  2. Tires for Mugen MF-10

Yes there definitely is a right answer. What you are trying to do is match the aftermarket tyre to the OEM tyre circumference. 255/40 or 265/35 are the most popular sizes that will work when lowered or at stock height. 275/35 will work at stock height but may rub if lowered. These 3 are your...
  3. Fatherpain’s 2018 Type R

We all definitely appreciate the effort you put in to your car and this thread. That is amazing gesture from someone to gift you a set of TEs, good on them. Another mod I think you may like is the spoon rigid collar set for the front and rear subframes. Apparently it's very noticeable...
  4. Developing new gps to rival Waze & Google Maps

Accurate speed limit indication is important. I use both apps and have found in some areas that the speed limit doesn't update for a minute or two after passing the point at which the limit changed. Also an option for a pre warning of a change in speed limit. I like how Waze allows the user to...
  5. Fatherpain’s 2018 Type R

What a fantastic thread. I had a quiet day at work and over 12 hours read all 60 pages of this 3 year journey. I own a CW '18 CTR exactly the same as yours. I really appreciate the maintenance DIY posts. What are you long term goals for the car? Is it going to be a forever car or will you move...
  6. Volk TE37 SL Black Edition III

That looks great. I love how the these look like an OEM spec TE37. Suit the car perfectly.

Took me 4 months to get my new bumper.
  8. What did you do to your Type R today?

  9. Enkei Kojin 18 9.5 +35 FK8 owners only please

Funny, I thought the same thing. But I'm fairly sure they don't offer a 19inch.
  10. Who uses AD08R's on their daily driver?

Thanks. Good to hear they are comfortable. I'm really over the stock Conti's!
  11. Who uses AD08R's on their daily driver?

I was thinking the same thing. I was going to get PS4S but the AD08Rs are about 30% cheaper and I won't be driving it in heavy rain either. I am planning on running a 255/40 as I don't intend to lower the car. The AD08R run a little wide from what I have heard so it should give more of a...
  12. Who uses AD08R's on their daily driver?

Wow, I have never heard of Nankang being offered locally. I'll check out availability and pricing and compare. Thanks.
  13. Who uses AD08R's on their daily driver?

Thanks alot exactly the info I was after. I was a bit sceptical as they are such a different design to most of high performance road/light track use tyres. Luckily here in Australia we don't need to worry about the cold only near Hell like temperatures.

  15. Who uses AD08R's on their daily driver?

Hi guys, its time for new tyres and I'm looking at AD08R's for the 18's on my FK8 which I daily drive. They appear to be have a very aggressive tread and I was wondering how everyone finds them as a daily driving tyre? How are they in the wet? Any experiences with these tyre would be greatly...
  16. Civic Type R After-market Wheel Guide

Looks great. Is that stock height or lowered? The shadow on the top of the tyre makes it hard to tell.
  17. New CTR Owner, Need Brake Pad Recommendations

Welcome, I have an '18 with 35000KMs and still on the original OEM pads (I do alot of highway driving). I have never had a single noise out of my brakes other than a few squealing rocks caught in the rock guard. Might be worth picking up a new set of OEM front pads and swapping them out. It's...
  18. Whiteline spring question

Has everyone found that the advertised drop of 20mm/0.7in is accurate after these Whiteline springs settle? I know swift advertise a 1 inch drop but they always seem to settle alot lower then that.
  19. What did you do to your Type R today?

Well, I hit a Kangaroo back at the beginning of July. Cracked the front bumper, smashed headlight, dented fender and the pedestrian protection went off throwing the back of the bonnet up and bending the hinges. I'm still waiting on parts, so I did nothing on my type R today...
