I 100% did not intend to "black out" my new Civic Si. But after putting some smoked vinyl on the side markers (and rear reflectors), one thing led to another. Painted the front and rear "H" emblems. De-badged the "civic". And then the chrome window strip was really bugging me, so blacked that out with vinyl.

So...as these things often progress... the chrome exhaust tip started to haunt my dreams. High temperature spray paint. Sorry, car is very dirty from all the rain last week.

Today thoroughly cleaned the Civic inside and out. I recently fitted the 2019 fuel flap protection trim and on the UK models the 'unleaded fuel' specification label is on the inside of the flap. Order a new decal from my dealer, only £4.00....... (part number 17669-5AW-E21)

Also fitted US spec amber side markers. Please note: The supplied bulb holders that come with the amber markers are larger than the UK ones. Therefore the bulb holders won't connect with the wiring loom connector.

I used the original ones and switched out the 501 capless bulb...

So they do have a different label for the UK market :0 .
I've previously ordered a JDM label through RHD, and placed that inside, on the blank area next to the filling neck.
This time, together with this cover, I've added the US label so I'll always have the US on the lid and JDM inside

Important thing got to say couple more times, PREMIUM FUEL RECOMMENDED
Now I'll remember lol

Last Monday, after the new windshield got put in for less than 2 weeks, I got a new rock chip, again

So I have safelite fix it for me again, still noticeable, but o well, got to learn to live with it, until another big crack happen (please don't)
