Does anyone know of a good shop to get the stock tires replaced in central NJ? I tried using the Tire Rack recommended installer and of course they told me they couldn’t do it after I got the tires delivered there. I tried calling Honda and Acura service shops but nobody can give me a confident answer as to whether they have the appropriate machinery according to the Honda bulletin.

Don't know NJ, but try performance tire and race shops. The ones that can do race cars can usually do just about anything.

I think most Honda dealers didn't buy the very expensive machine in the Honda bulletin.
But, my local (NH) dealer still was still able to do it. I looked the wheel over pretty carefully when I got it back. It was fine.
I'd call a few more dealers in your area.

Try Ivan's alignments in Cliffside Park, NJ. Owner works on performance cars. It's a little north from where you are.

A bit north from you, but Honda of Hackettstown has replaced mine with no issues.

I had Michelin PS4S installed in OEM size at the local Toyota dealership. I believe the machine is a common Hunter unit. Install was perfect. The mechanic said he took it a little slower than usual but it wasn't a challenge.

That being said, I'm guessing it's a little easier to mount the Michelin than a stiffer tire like a Bridgestone or the stock Conti. Maybe my situation would have been different with a different tire.
