I’m ready to start some mods on my car now that I’ve had it for a few months. I’m a little new to performance upgrades. Suggestions on where to start before a tune?

Cold air intake is cool mainly bc you can hear the pssssh without going with a shitty bov

Acuity short shifter is also a good choice

In addition to previously listed

Good tires
Lighter wheels
Chassis bracing ie strut tower, power brace, sway bars, type r lower brace
Brake pads, rotors, braided steel lines
Intercooler
Springs and/or coilovers and accompanying suspension modifications

It really depends on what you want to spend, how you want your car to handle, and how far down the rabbit hole you want to go

EDIT @86salmon beat me to the punch!

Depends on your goals...do you want a quick/fun street car or to move towards running track days?

If its just a street car a tune will be the best bang for your buck.

Track use then lean towards wheels/tires/brake pads and fluid.

Figure out your desired end state and work towards it!

Adding onto what others said already, tune first if for street, it's the single biggest bolt on upgrade you can make, just know if you have a manual you may burn that stock clutch up if you do anything over 18 psi. After that get a type R shifter assembly, cheaper than the acuity parts and feels better imo, tried both. Then an intake if you want that kind of noise and the rest is rly up to you, lowering springs, wheels/tires, etc.

How do you monitor psi? Through the ktuner?

Get a good set of tires. It's what connects the car to the road.

new tires are a good starting point. Acuity shifting upgrades are also a good start.
