@86salmon @icemansi can you guys snap a photo of your engine bay of how you ran the HID's? I want to switch over but I'm worried that I'll wires running across the engine bay. Or do you not need to do that with this brand?

I'm not using a relay with the 35w ballasts.
They are mounted using 3m above my fender wells under my trim covers

If I did use a relay, I'd run it under the front trim plate above the radiator

I’m running the LEDs, I tucked the lil box up in the core support with a lil foam tape around it so it does not rattled.

Oh the relay harness is not needed when running 35W ballast?

According to DDM their mid and top tier ballasts don't and I have been ok for 4+ years

Here are pics of the cutoff and light throw of the DDM Tuning SaberLED @Los1391
Wow those are pretty bright.
I was using Hikari's for 2.5years and just tossed them out since they started going really dim for some reason. My fog lights were brighter than the low beams lol.

These look legit also. Lightwerkz is near me and well known business. The owner has been doing custom lights for years..

Hylux is an old and reputable brand in the HID game - def a good kit. If Lightwerkz is local to you, you should drop you headlamps off and get a proper D2S projector retrofit! Some Philips or Osram bulbs along with those Hylux ballasts and you'll love the output.

Here is my car with G5R projectors (D2S), Osram CBI bulbs, and Morimoto 35w ballasts. Have had this setup for ~3 years now:

That does look really nice the output from your headlights! Wow!

I’m sure the D2S projector costs some money! Don’t know if I’m ready to spend 500 just yet lol

Eh, the projectors themselves are not that expensive. But yes, when you add up the projectors, bulbs, and ballasts, it'll be ~$400.

I paid a company out in Colorado to do the retrofit for another ~$400 in labor, but Lightwerkz may give you a discount for being local?
