What are some key components to buy before switching to a bigger turbo?

Intercooler, Inlet and clutch imo if you do decide to go big turbo you have to watch your torque numbers since pretty much anything over 320 is where our internals start acting up if you are talking about the Si

You really need an Si if you want to do mods like that. Even if by some miracle you could get a larger turbo working on an fk7 without destroying the engine or cvt, you could never in a million years hope to put the power down without a limited slip differential- it would be traction control all day everyday if it was on or it would be one of your front wheels spinning getting nowhere with TC off.

Guessing the dude you reied to is new to the scene. This forum alone has hundreds of threads saying the opposite of what he said.
Maybe not hundreds of threads but what he posted was totally inaccurate.
