Because this is the first time the Civic Type-R is in the US so it is still kind of a unicorn. People are just dumb and impulse buying from the hype they still believe is there. There still is hype just not as much as when it was first released.Why are people paying more than MSRP for a USED car?

There are folks who drive the car like they're on a race track on a daily basis. I average 32-33 MPG myself on my work commute. Weekend MPG is different, however.MPG?? Umm I'm getting 35mpg
32.2 mile on my morning commute on CA 99 and CA 50 going 65-70 which is fairly flat. 30ish in the afternoon using the backroads with roughly 10 stoplights/signs.
