2017 Civic Touring Rear Turn Signals (LED)

I'll start by apologizing if this has been answered somewhere else. These keywords are actually really hard to research as they bring up so many other topics about non-touring trims.

My question is specific to the 2017+ touring sedan:
Since the front headlights and turn signals are all LED, do you still require a resistor when replacing the rear turn signal bulbs? I'd imagine yes, but I'm not sure if something is different with the relay since the front and mirrors are already LED.

However, it's currently out of stock and one of the bulbs was faulty from the package. I just switched back to stock.

My 2017 Civic Touring Coupe needed resistors for the rear LED turn signals. I got hyperflashing without the resistors.

It is a 50 watts 6 ohms resistor

I bought these as well and have been using them for about 10 months now with no issues. Nice and bright w/ no hyper flashing. Love them

Thank you, everybody, for your responses. My LEDs got delivered today and I was able to see hyper flashing in person. Then I quickly spliced in the resistors in the trunk and voila, normal flashing.

I’m curious though why the hazards don’t hyper flash without a resistor.
